Blythes Dollhouse Kitchen Remodel

It's taken me a while but I think I've gathered most of the appliances and materials to start working on the dollhouse kitchen remodel.  No I still need the flooring.  Here's a photo of what I've got.  Everything is just placed in the room loosely. I'll install them after I finish the walls, ceiling, and floor.  I put the kitchen on the 2nd floor.  Originally I was going to make it a 1st floor kitchen but there wasn't really room.  The living room will take up most of the first floor.

The yellow appliances are from the Eastham Sindy doll line.  The floor isn't level so the doors don't stay closed.  I'll have to get something sticky, maybe velcro to hold them in place.  There's a double oven that has a drawer at the bottom.  The top oven has a rotisserie that spins when I turn a dial on the top.  Cute.

I think I'm going to paint the handles on the fridge yellow so they coordinate with the other appliances.

Here's the inside of the fridge and the inside of the washing machine.

The yellow weave scrapbook paper will go on the walls and the small stick on tiles will be the backsplash. If there is a backsplash. There doesn't seem to be an obvious place for the tiles.  Not sure how I'm going to work that in. The cabinet on the far right side of the main picture will hang on the wall and I suppose I can put the tiles under that.  I'll figure it out as I go.  And I'll need some paint for the window frames and sills.

Here is a picture of the electric tape I removed from all the rooms.  The original builder intended to run electricity but never finished.  I don't know how to do that and am not interested in learning so I pulled it out.

Theres a Barbie Pop Life chair in the middle of the room in the top photo.  I have 2 of them and a white table for the center of the room but the table legs aren't straight and they are being glued into place correctly right now.  So it's a big work in progress.  But at least I have some of the stuff to get started.  Most of the stuff actually.  I'm excited.

Your fridge is upside down and the door are on the wrong sides.

The silver metal piece faces the bottom… no the top.

the shelves are supposed to be on the bottom, not the top.

    Just saying… lol :o)
